Welcome to Nora’s Angels Early Learning Center, a Maryland-licensed early childhood program serving infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarten children from six weeks through five years of age.

Since 2013, we have provided children and families in Bowie, Maryland, with a safe, joyful, academically engaging, and family-centered learning environment.

We believe every child is wonderfully created by God and possesses unique abilities, interests, needs, and potential. Through meaningful relationships, purposeful play, prayer, exploration, and hands-on learning, we help children grow academically, socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and spiritually.

We believe every child is uniquely created by God and deserves to feel safe, loved, respected, valued, and included.

Children learn best through meaningful relationships, purposeful play, hands-on exploration, consistent routines, and opportunities to make choices, ask questions, solve problems, and express their ideas. We recognize that every child develops at an individual pace and has unique abilities, interests, needs, culture, and home experiences.

Our teachers provide developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that support the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and spiritually. Through encouragement, positive guidance, prayer, Christian values, and family partnerships, we help children develop confidence, independence, kindness, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.

Every day at Nora's Angels is built around faith, trust, and open communication between our educators and your family.

A CHRIST-CENTERED DAILY EXPERIENCE

Faith is thoughtfully incorporated into our daily routine through prayer, Bible stories, Christian songs, blessings, daily declarations, gratitude, kindness, forgiveness, compassion, and service.

Children say a blessing before morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. Before rest time, they participate in an age-appropriate daily declaration that reinforces faith, identity, courage, kindness, gratitude, and God's love.

FAMILY COMMUNICATION YOU CAN TRUST

Families receive important updates through Brightwheel, including classroom messages, daily reports, photographs, reminders, announcements, and information about their child's experiences.

We value open, respectful communication and believe children benefit most when families and educators work together.

Language and Literacy

Building vocabulary, communication, listening, early reading, writing, and storytelling skills through meaningful interactions and experiences.

Social Studies

Learning about families, communities, cultures, relationships, and the world around us while developing awareness of others.

Mathematical Thinking

Exploring numbers, counting, patterns, shapes, measurement, and problem-solving through hands-on activities and everyday experiences.

Science and Engineering

Using curiosity and observation to explore the natural world, investigate questions, experiment, and discover how things work.

Creative Arts

Expressing ideas and creativity through art, music, movement, dramatic play, and other hands-on creative experiences.

Physical Development

Strengthening fine- and gross-motor skills through movement, active play, coordination, balance, and age-appropriate physical activities.

Social and Emotional Development

Developing self-awareness, emotional expression, self-regulation, positive relationships, cooperation, confidence, and problem-solving skills.

I moved to Bowie as a new mother with no family in the area. Searching for childcare was challenging as I was determined to find the best fit for my 10 month old son. Once I met Nora and spoke with her about her childcare program, I instantly knew she was someone I could trust. Under her care, my son learned all of his site words by the time he was 2 1/2 and was reading at age 3. She also potty trained him. Nora, also provided care for my daughters after maternity leave. I highly recommend Nora's Angels Early Learning Center.

Both of my sons attend this daycare and they love it (so do we)! The teachers are so patient, kind and caring. My 3 year old can recognize 5-letter sight words and phonics. My 2 year old knows his letters, numbers, and shapes. Both have an expansive vocabulary that appears to grow everyday. This daycare provides a nurturing and loving environment which encourages learning. I would recommend this daycare to all who ask!

This daycare provides a loving and caring learning environment for my toddler. The owner and her staff treat and care for my little one as if he were their own. This provider always addresses any concerns I may have about my little one. She sends weekly pictures and videos of my little one's progress.
